Letter From the French Meadow Bakery Family
Dear French Meadow Bakery Customers,
As you probably have noticed, we’ve been very busy at French Meadow Bakery this year! Here are some highlights of the changes we’ve made in support of you, our valued customers:
We redesigned our website -- frenchmeadow.com, and created a broader online presence via new and exciting social media tools like Facebook and MySpace.
We launched many new products, including a new great-tasting partially-baked gluten-free pizza crust specifically designed for foodservice operators; and a new line of naturally delicious and indulgent bite-sized treats, made with zero grams transfat and no artificial colors or preservatives.
And just recently, we completed construction of our brand new Apollo manufacturing plant in Eagan, MN, which will greatly enhance our ability to produce great tasting natural and organic bakery products, and improve our capabilities to develop new and exciting product offerings for our customers. This new plant includes a state-of-the-art gluten-free bakery, which further strengthens our position as the nation’s leading supplier of quality, great-tasting, gluten-free bakery and dessert products.
Judging from the tremendous feedback we’ve received from customers across the country, it’s evident that you also have noticed the exciting changes we’ve made to our product packaging. During this redesign, our goal was to provide more of the product and ingredient information you crave, while also refreshing and standardizing the graphics across our entire product family. In addition, we added circular icons to the front of each package so you can quickly identify each product’s healthy benefits.
Given the recent opening of our new Apollo Plant and updates to our packaging, the timing was right for us to also conduct a thorough review of the nutritional information we list on each product. At our new facility in Eagan, we now have the ability to perform more accurate analyses of our product ingredients, and therefore impose stricter regulatory controls. Based on this enhanced capability, we’ve made some adjustments to the nutritional information for some of our products.
It’s important to point out that while some of the nutritional information may have changed, our formulas have not changed. We are still baking the same great, healthy products that you have grown to love and rely on from French Meadow Bakery.
We hope that you find these changes and enhancements as exciting as we do here at French Meadow. And please continue to provide us with your thoughts and feedback, as we continue to work hard to enhance our product offering and capabilities to meet our customers’ needs.
